The Swimming CentreJust before we enter the school grounds proper, we pass the Clarke Swimming Centre on our left. Built in 1999, it is a superb modern facility, with a dance studio and gym as well as a 25m pool, and most pupils should get the chance to swim at least once a week.
The Pool is also open to the public during the holidays, and pupils at the school automatically get free membership.
We will now take a look inside the Centre before carrying on into the school.
