Iguanas must be among the best-known and most commonly kept lizards. Captive-farmed babies are always available in large numbers, but can be quite difficult to raise if they are too small. They are imported from south America where the climate is such that they can be bread outside. Only a few people have managed to breed them in this country. Think carefully before purchasing a Green Iguana; although many never show real aggression you cannot tell if your baby will grow up nasty or into the perfect pet.
