Milk snakes, or tricolor kings, are black, red, and yellow (or white) banded forms of lampropeltis triangulum and a few other species. These are gorgeous snakes but they can be fussy feeders-most eat lizards and snakes and , although they will adopt to a rodent diet, often it takes patience on the part of the keeper.
