A lot of fish are endangered because of people killing them for mostly food. Here are a few of them:

Salmon

The Salmon lives in the seas of the Northern hemisphere. At the beginning of this century there were about five thousand salmon going up the river Narcea. Nowadays there are hardly a thousand. There are a lot of causes for the decreasing number of them: natural and artificial obstacles, water pollution, over fishing etc.

We could build fish ladders to allow the salmon to go upstream. Also to forbid the use of nets and apply sanctions against the dumping of toxic waste.

Clownfish

The clownfish lives best in the Red Sea, because of its cold water and reefs. It also lives on the reef. The clownfish is threatened by many different types of sea creatures. This is one of the reasons why the number of clownfish has dropped.

We as people could possibly put clownfish in a man made area to prevent being eaten by the other fish.

Great White Shark

The Great White Shark is found both in cold and warm waters. Sometimes they are found in lakes in Australia and New Zealand. It is endangered because people are killing them for food and sport. People are also scared of them, and are polluting the water.

Somehow people should stop other people polluting the water. The Great White Shark is not a man eater so people have no right to kill them for food or sport.
